Ross Dunlop signs new deal with Albion Rovers

League One side Albion Rovers have announced that Ross Dunlop has signed a new deal with the Coatbridge side.

The 26-year-old defender has extended his contract for a further year and will stay on until the summer of 2017.

Speaking to the official club website, following the new deal being signed, manager Darren Young said: “We’re delighted Ross has agreed to extend his stay. It’s important to have a strong pine to the team and Ross has been fantastic for us.”

Dunlop has made 112 appearances in all competitions for Rovers since signing for the club in July 2013. Albion Rovers are currently third in League One ten points behind league leaders Dunfermline Athletic.
