Leanne Crichton signs new one year deal with Notts County

Former Hibernian and Glasgow City midfielder Leanne Crichton has signed a new one year deal with English side Notts County.

The Scotland international was a regular for Rick Passmoor’s side last season helping them to qualify for both the Women’s FA Cup Final and the Continental Tyres Cup Final.

Speaking to the official club website, Crichton said: “I’m delighted to be extending my contract for another year, the club has been everything and more than what I had expected and the fans were a huge reason behind my decision to stay.”

“Last year was a good year for us, but it’s now time to build on the success of last season and bring silverware back to Meadow Lane.”

Crichton started her playing career with Glasgow City, before making the move to Celtic and then Hibernian. A return to Glasgow City followed and with that European football.

She signed a one-year deal with Notts County at the start of the 2015 season and has now extended her stay.
