Former chief Charles Green taking Rangers to court

1

Former Rangers chief executive Charles Green is reportedly taking the Ibrox side to court to get them to pay his legal fees thought to be in excess of £500,000.

According to the BBC, Green is claiming his contract with the Ibrox club entitled him to legal cover during and after his tenure – as the Yorkshireman battles charges of conspiracy, fraud and an offence under Section 190 of the Companies Act 2006.

Despite the claims, Rangers have stated they are unaware of Green’s claim and have not been approached by their former chief or his representatives.
