Dundee United have appointed Dave Bowman as temporary manager of the club following Jackie McNamara being relieved of his duties following Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to ten man St.Hohnstone.
Bowman, who is assistant manager of the development squad, will be assisted by United club captain Sean Dillon.
The 51-year-old former United player’s first game in charge will be away to bottom side Partick Thistle.
An announcement on Jackie McNamara and his coaching team of Simon Donnelly, Darren Jackson and Craig Hinchcliffe is expected to be made later on Monday.
