Hibernian reject third bid from Rangers for Scott Allan

Rangers have seen a third bid for midfielder Scott Allan rejected once again by Hibernian, with Rotherham seeing a bid rejected also.

Allan had submitted a formal transfer request at Easter Road following the Easter Road side rejecting two bids from their main Championship rivals.

But Hibernian issued comments criticising Rangers and stated that ‘the player will not be sold to Rangers’.

A third bid was lodged by the Ibrox club last night, but Hibs rejected their advances once more.

The 23 year old, who is out of contract at the end of season, is a boyhood Rangers fan but it is increasingly looking likely he will have to wait until January to sign a pre-contract agreement with the Ibrox side with the permanent move next summer.

Meanwhile, Rotherham have had a bid of around £375,000 bid for Scott Allan rejected this afternoon, but both clubs are still in talks and it is expected that an increased offer will be lodged by the English Championship club.
