Celtic accept Sunderland bid for Adam Matthews

Celtic have reportedly accepted a bid from English Premier League side Sunderland for full back Adam Matthews. Reports down south put the fee between £1.5 million to £2 million.

Matthews’ future at Celtic was all but sealed with the signing of Manchester United youngster Saidy Janko.

The 23 year old signed for Celtic in 2011 from Cardiff City and has made 148 appearances for the Parkhead side scoring five goals.

Matthews is a Welsh international and has won 12 caps.
