SPFL Championship Highlights: Rangers 2-2 Falkirk

The battle for second place in the Scottish Championship has gone down to the wire with both Rangers and Hibernian battling for that spot.

Rangers played host to fifth placed Falkirk at Ibrox, but it didn’t go to plan for Stuart McCall’s side as Falkirk raced into a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from John Baird and Tom Taiwo.

On loan Newcastle United player Haris Vuckic pulled a goal back for the home side, before Nicky Law scored an equaliser later on.

With Hibernian beating Alloa 4-1, Rangers’ draw sees the Capital city side leapfrog the Ibrox side into second place and now have to rely on Falkirk doing them a favour in the final day of the season.
