Two men have bee charged with the attempted murder of a Rangers fan on the day of the Glasgow derby match on February 1st.
Graham Murray, 29, and Grant Murray, 19, appeared in private at Hamilton Sheriff Court no plea or declaration was made and both were remanded in custody.
Rangers fan Jim Martin was left fighting for his life from what was described as an ‘unprovoked attack’ outside a pub, hours after Celtic beat Rangers 2-0 at Hampden Park in the League Cup semi final.
Both men are expected to appear in court this Friday for a second time.
A third man who had been arrested in connection with the attack has been released but could still face charges.
