Rangers captain Lee McCulloch has been issued with a Scottish FA notice of complaint over an alleged stamp on Raith Rovers’ Dale Carrick on Sunday, during the Ibrox side’s 2-0 defeat to the Kirkcaldy outfit.
McCulloch was booked during the fifth round tie for a forearm smash on the Rovers forward, but has now been offered the two game ban for allegedly stamping on Carrick’s leg.
He has until Wednesday 11th February to respond to the charge and a hearing is set for the day after – if he challenges the charge.
