Blow for Celtic as Kris Commons ruled out against Inter Milan

Celtic have been dealt a blow ahead of Thursday night’s Europa League clash with Inter Milan at Celtic Park, with the news that influential playmkaer Kris Commons is ruled out through injury.

Manager Ronny Deila had given Commons until today to pass fit so as to be included in the squad, but the former Scotland international has failed to recover from a hamstring injury in time.

It is expected that new signings Stuart Armstrong and Gary Mackay Steven will start tonight in what should be an unchanged side to the one that beat St.Johnstone 2-1 at the weekend.
