Hamilton Accies started life after Alex Neil with a 3-2 defeat to Dundee United at New Douglas Park.
Goals from Stuart Armstrong, Gary Mackay-Steven and Sean Dillon secured the points for Jackie McNamara, while Hamilton scored through Jesus Garcia Tena and Ali Crawford.
