Graeme Shinnie signs pre-contract agreement with Aberdeen

Aberdeen have announced that Inverness Caledonian Thistle defender Graeme Shinnie has signed a pre-contract agreement and will join the Pittodrie side on a three year deal in the summer.

Despite a number of English Championship sides reportedly interested in signing the full back, Shinnie chose to join the Dons and return to his hometown.

The 23-year-old signed for Inverness in 2009 and made over 140 appearances for John Hughes’ side, scoring six goals.
