Nothing seperated Nairn County and Cove Rangers after a 1-1 draw. Conor Gethins gave County a 1st half lead before Eric Watson pegged them back in the 56th minute. Watson then turned from hero to villain when he got a 2nd bookable offence ten minutes later.

Fort William and Huntly are still without a win this season after an entertaining 3-3 draw at Claggan Park. This game was played in front of the SHFL TV cameras and they witnessed a 3-3 draw in Lochaber last season when Fort William played Buckie Thistle.

Turriff United have been deducted three points and fined £250 for fielding Artjoms Kuznecovs in Turriff’s 4-0 win away to Strathspey Thistle on the opening day of the season.

The Latvian was awaiting international clearance by FIFA at the time. As a result, this will drop Turriff into 10th position in the league.

In the Aberdeenshire Cup, Buckie Thistle earned a trip to Pitmedden to face Formartine United after a 2-0 win away to Keith, Chris Angus and Scott Adams were on target for the Jags.

Fixtures for Saturday 30/08/14 are as follows: Brora Rangers v Formartine United, Clachnacuddin v Deveronvale, Forres Mechanics v Huntly, Fort William v Turriff United, Lossiemouth v Inverurie Locos, Nairn County v Keith, Rothes v Buckie Thistle, Strathspey Thistle v Cove Rangers and Wick Academy v Fraserburgh
