Football Virals: Christian Benteke takes inspiration from Chris Iwelumo

0

If you are a Scotland supporter you will know all about striker Chris Iwelumo’s horror miss against Norway several years back. In fact his face said it all at the time, and he will forever be remembered about it just like Pat Nevin’s piss poor penalty during his Chelsea days.

During last night’s 2-2 draw with the Ivory Coast, Aston Villa and Belgium striker Christian Benteke missed an open goal from seven yards out.

Benteke was left with his head in his hands after squandering a guilt-edged tap-in after Everton’s Kevin Mirallas rolled the ball across the face of goal, only for Benteke to fire his shot high and over the Ivory Coast crossbar.
