Brora stretched their lead at the top of the Highland League to four points after a 9-0 thumping against Keith with the goals coming after Maroons keeper Ian MacLeod was sent off just 13 minutes in.

Nairn County failed to keep up with their title rivals as they drew 1-1 at home to Deveronvale, Graeme Rodger gave Vale the lead before John Cameron salvaged a point for Les Fridge’s outfit.

Inverurie Locos ended Fraserburgh’s eight-match winning streak after a 2-0 victory at Bellslea, a Dean Donaldson brace was enough to secure the Harlaw Park side a win.

Clachnacuddin kept up their good form with a 1-0 win over Turriff United with Martin Callum’s header proving the difference. That’s four wins on the bounce for the Highlanders.

Buckie Thistle won the battle of the Jags beating Strathspey 3-0 thanks to goals from Neil Davidson and an Aaron Conway brace.

It was a good weekend to be a Huntly fan, on Saturday they had a convincing 6-0 win over Rothes before the black & golds were given another boost last night with the news that Gregg Carrol who has won the Highland League four times with Deveronvale and Buckie Thistle has taken over the Christie Park hotseat.

Lossiemouth and Forres Mechanics settled for a point in the Moray derby, Stuart Soane gave the can-cans in the 17th minute before Jordan McBain equalised for the Coasters just two minutes after the restart.
