Gordon Strachan announces Scotland squad for World Cup double header

Scotland manager Gordon Strachan has announced his 27-man squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Belgium and Macedonia next month.

There is a first call up for Watford defender Ikechi Anya, while Jamie Mackie and Ross McCormack receive recalls to the squad. As reported earlier, Kenny Miller has retired from international football.

Kilmarnock keeper Craig Samson has been called up to the side, while Allan McGregor is suspended for the Belgium game on 6th September.
