Hensons Project Scottish Cup second round draw

The draw for the second round of the Hensons Project Scottish Cup was made yesterday and it threw up two SWPL clashes and an Edinburgh derby to boot.

Defending champions Glasgow City, who defeated Forfar Farmington in last season’s final, are at home to SWFL First Division side East Fife at Petershill Park.

Last season’s beaten finalists Forfar Farmington will play SWPL rivals Celtic in an all-SWPL tie, while Celtic’s city rivals Rangers will travel to Carluke to play SWPL opponents Hamilton Accies.

The draw even threw up a wee Edinburgh derby in the guise of SWFL First Division side Hearts playing SWPL opponents Spartans – who lost 5-0 to Glasgow City in the SWPL League Cup Final tonight.
