We have all the action from the midweek games on Wednesday in the Scottish Premier League. On Tuesday night, Ross County secured a 1-0 victory over a beleaguered Aberdeen side, thanks to a late Gary Glen goal.
Wednesday night saw the remaining SPL fixtures played out and league leaders Celtic were defeated by Motherwell 2-1. Goals from Chris Humphrey and Michael Higdon gave Stuart McCall’s side all three points, with Georgios Samaras scoring for Celtic. Dundee, under the stewardship of John Brown for the first time drew 2-2 with St.Johnstone at Dens Park. While city rivals Dundee United were held to a 0-0 draw in the Highlands by Terry Butcher’s Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
Hibernian drew 2-2 with Kilmarnock and St.Mirren beat Hearts 2-0 in what was to be John McGlynn’s final game in charge of the Tynecastle side as he was sacked early this afternoon.
