The consortium fronted by Charles Green, changed their name from Sevco Scotland to The Rangers Football Club this week, were granted a conditional membership last Friday after applying to transfer the membership of the defunct Rangers who are due to be liquidated in the coming weeks or months.
That allowed the new club to field a team in the Ramsdens Cup against Brechin last weekend, a game which the Ibrox club won 2-1 after extra time thanks to a goal from Lee McCulloch.
Full membership was pending Rangers’ SPL share being handed to Dundee, which was completed this morning.
A statement tonight read: “The Scottish FA can confirm that The Rangers Football Club Ltd have today received confirmation that full membership of the association has been transferred.”
