Griffiths to stay at Hibernian until the summer

Posted by

Hibernian have confirmed that Leigh Griffiths will remain on loan at Hibs from Wolverhampton Wanderers until the end of the season.

The 21 year old striker has netted 4 times in his 14 appearances for the Easter Road club since he arrived on loan in August.

The striker told the official club website: “I’ve enjoyed every minute of my time here at Hibs so far and the fact I’m going to stay at least until the summer is something I’m really pleased about.

“I love playing for Hibs and this whole experience has been like a dream come true for me.”

Following on from the Edinburgh derby defeat, Hibs face Cowdenbeath away in the Scottish Cup on Saturday and will be looking to provide manager Pat Fenlon with his first win since joining the club.
