St.Johnstone Family Day

In these times when money is hard and people are selective on places they choose to go, it is nice to see an SPL club giving the fans something to be cheerful about for a change and indeed this is an offer that fans of St.Johnstone really cannot afford to miss!

Under Derek McInnes, the club have been playing some really attractive football and sit 5th in the table at the moment having already beaten Celtic and Hearts so far this season and are only three points off third placed Celtic as they hope to finish as high up the table as possible.

If you have not already been to see the Saints this season then why not treat yourself and the kids this Saturday?

The club is pleased to announce a special deal for kids to come along to our next match – the Scottish Premier League encounter with Inverness Caledonian Thistle on Saturday 15th October (kick off 3pm) with our Tayplay Family Section transferring to the Ormond Stand for the day!

Special souvenir tickets are currently available which allows free entry into the Ormond Stand for that game and the only stipulation is that they must be accompanied by a paying adult. Each adult can bring two ticket-holding kids into the game and for this match only we have reduced adult admission to the Ormond Stand to only £10 – that means an adult and two ticket-holding kids can take in the game for a total of just ten pounds!

Tickets have already been distributed to a selection of schools in Perth and Kinross and although the game falls in the middle of the October school holidays it is hoped that there will be a good turn out.

We’re also pleased to advise that family groups who have season tickets for the East or West Stands will be able to use those season tickets in the Tayplay Family Section in the Ormond Stand that day so they won’t miss out on the fun.

There will be giveaways on the day, the Saints players who are not involved in the game will be in the Ormond Stand ahead of the game for autographs and photos and SuperSaint will also be in attendance within the stand.

There will be a ‘lucky seat lottery’ where three seat holders will be chosen at random to receive Saints goody bags and plenty more going on.

The complimentary kids tickets can also be picked up from Campus Sports in the High Street or from the McDiarmid Park reception and Ticket Office so come along and support the team as they continue their efforts to become a top six SPL club over the course of the campaign.

It is always nice to hear that a club is always looking to do something for the fans and here at Scotzine, we will gladly promote such events as the game in Scotland at the moment needs a lift and events like these hopefully bring the kids back to our Scottish football grounds and also hopefully keeps them interested in their local side.

This is the perfect opportunity to go and watch your team this Saturday, they have been producing the goods on the park and now it is up to you to do your bit off the park and go along to the family Day this Saturday and enjoy yourselves!
