The City team will check in at 7.30am at Glasgow Airport in preparation for the biggest match of their club’s history. Not only are City the first Scottish women’s team ever to get this far in Europe’s most elite club competition, but they will also become the first Scottish side to have their UEFA Women’s Champions League match broadcast live on TV with BBC Alba and Eurosport showing the match.
Eurosport will transmit the crucial match live in Germany and Asia, whilst BBC ALBA hold the exclusive rights for the UK.

City’s Club Manager, Laura Montgomery added: “It is fantastic for Glasgow City and the game in general to have such an important match live on TV. We are treading new ground in reaching the last sixteen and it is a proud moment for everyone at the club to know that our historic moment is being broadcast live in our home nation.”
The match kicks off on Wednesday 2nd November at 4pm UK time.
