Scotland Team to face the Czech Republic announced

1

Scotland manager Craig Levein has announced the starting eleven that will take to the field at Hampden in front of the Tartan Army as they look towards securing three wins out of four to aid their attempts at securing a play off place for EURO 2012.

Despite a lack of first team action, Levein has called up Manchester United’s Darren Fletcher and Aston Villa’s Alan Hutton.

As expected Cardiff City striker Kenny Miller will lead the line in a 4-5-1 formation with Morrison, Adam, Naismith, Brown and Fletcher in midfield.

Sunderland’s Phil Bardsley will take the left back berth, Hutton on the right, with Gary Caldwell and Christophe Berra in central defence.

Rangers number one Allan McGregor will don the keepers gloves for Scotland, looking to improve upon his performance in the friendly against Denmark.

Scotland XI: McGregor, Hutton, Caldwell, Berra, Bardsley, Naismith, Fletcher, Adam, Brown, Morrison, Miller
