Peterhead part company with manager Sheran

Second Division side Peterhead FC have announced on their official website the departure of manager John Sheran and his coaching staff.

Peterhead have had a poor start to the season, exiting both the Ramsdens Cup and Communities League Cup in the first round stages and have lost five out of six league games.

Club Chairman Rodger Morrison said: “We are all very disappointed for John, although he has worked extremely hard, he has been unable to find a winning formula. It is a regrettable situation; however we feel a change now is required to maintain our promotion ambitions.

We would like to thank John and his team for all their hard work and dedication they have shown in their time at the club.”
