Levein announces team to face Lithuania

Scotland manager Craig Levein has announced his starting eleven to face Lithuania at Hampden Park tonight.

Barry Bannan and Don Cowie have been given starts in place of the suspended Scott Brown and injured Charlie Adam respectively.

Steven Whittaker returns after suspension, replacing Alan Hutton at right back, while David Goodwillie is give his first start for Scotland in place of the suspended Kenny Miller.

If Scotland are to keep their chances of securing a play off place alive, they must beat Lithuania.

Scotland XI: McGregor, Whittaker, Caldwell, Berra, Bardsley, Naismith, Fletcher, Cowie, Bannan, Morrison, Goodwillie.
