Third Round Draw of Scottish Communities League Cup pits Celtic with Ross County once more

The draw for the Third Round of the Scottish Communities League Cup was made this morning at the Toryglen Regional Football Centre in Glasgow.

The draw pitted Celtic against Ross County, who handed Lennon an embarrassing defeat in the Scottish Cup Semi Final two seasons ago. Lennon and Celtic will certainly be looking for some revenge from that humiliating defeat. Rangers will face First Division side Falkirk, while St.Mirren will travel to St.Johnstone in one of two all-SPL clashes, the other being Motherwell against Hibernian.

Matches will be played either on Tuesday 20th or Wednesday 21st September 2011.

The full draw is as follows:

St Johnstone v St Mirren
Ross County v Celtic
Kilmarnock v Queen of the South
Falkirk v Rangers
Motherwell v Hibernian
Ayr United v Heart of Midlothian
Aberdeen v East Fife
Airdrie United v Dundee United
