Paulo Sergio to be named new Hearts manager

Hours after the announcement that Jim Jefferies and Billy Brown were sacked by Hearts owner Vladimir Romanov, the Lithuanian businessman has reportedly lined up former Sporting Lisbon manager Paulo Sergio Bento Brito as the new manager of the Tynecastle side.

Paulo Sergio has been out of work since February, when he was sacked by Sporting after the club’s defeat to Rangers in the Europa League, and according to STV Sport he is expected to take training at Hearts training base at Riccarton tomorrow.
