Cillian Sheridan joins Hibernian on trial

Former Celtic striker Cillian Sheridan has gone on trial with Easter Road outfit Hibernian, after he failed to settle in Bulgaria with CSKA Sofia.

The Irish international joined CSKA back in August 2010, signing a three-year deal, making 26 appearances for The Army Men, scoring seven times.

Prior to signing for CSKA, Sheridan was at Celtic making 19 appearances and scoring four times. But after failing to gain regular first team football at Parkhead, he was farmed out to Motherwell, St.Johnstone and then Plymouth, before moving to Bulgaria on a permanent deal.
