Falkirk sign veteran Terrors defender

First Division outfit Falkirk have signed Darren Dods after the veteran defender left Dundee United after his contract at Tannadice ran out.

Dods had been with United since leaving Inverness Caley Thistle in 2007, but played only four games last term for Peter Houston’s side, with his last coming in early October, when a serious knee injury cut short his season.

The Edinburgh-born defender began his career at Hibs before moving to Perth with St.Johnstone six years later. He will now try to help guide Steven Pressley’s side to the First Division title.
