When Kenny Miller signed for Turkish champions Bursaspor on the 21st of January, was that when Rangers sold the SPL title for £400k? He’s been gone since January but is still the top scorer in Scotland. He had 21 league goals when he left Rangers and was a constant thorn in the sides of every team in the SPL, including Old Firm rivals Celtic who he fired two past in the first Old Firm game of 7 this season. So did Rangers sell the league for £400k?
Miller been replaced by a man signed in the Summer for £4 million. Nikica Jelavic, however he was injured for most of the first half of the season and his return was timely as he stepped into Miller’s role upfront, both as a lone front man and as one of the front two with either Kyle Lafferty or Steven Naismith.
Jelavic has 13 goals in 20 games for Rangers this season, the majority of them coming since his return from injury and this has almost kept Rangers in the title run as well as the fantastic Allan McGregor and his defence.
So what’s your opinions, did Rangers sell the title for £400k? Or is it more than that.
