SFL Division Two Review 30th April 2011

0

With the Under 19 SFL trophy at Almondvale and the Under 17 trophy paraded at Somerset Park the SFL Division Two sides certainly have youth on their sides!

With Livingston already promoted their 1-1 draw with Dumbarton assured the latter of their Division Two status whilst preserving Livingston’s home record for the year.

Ayr United managed to beat a poor Airdrie United side 3-1 and leaves only home advantage for the play offs to be sorted for the seaside side.

Forfar secured a 2-1 victory against relegated Peterhead so it’s looking like it will be Ayr v Forfar and Cowdenbeath v …. for the Play offs.

The final play off spot is still to be settled as East fife managed to keep the pressure on Brechin City with a 3-1 victory against Alloa Athletic.

Brechin City beat Stenhousemuir 3-1 to set up an intriguing last day as the play off spot at the bottom has yet to be resolved.

Both Alloa Athletic and Stenhousemuir will keep one ear to the radio as they play the two teams promoted and relegated at the last game of the season…
