John Sutton signs on at Tynecastle

Hearts have completed their second signing of the way with the capture of striker John Sutton, after the earlier signing of Jamie Hamill earlier in the day.

This season, John Sutton has banged in 17 goals for Motherwell, including three against Hearts, catching the eye of the Hearts manager.

As we mentioned earlier today, Hearts were heading the line of clubs looking to sign Sutton, and just hours later they have swooped for the journeyman.

“I’m really looking forward to my time here,” he told Hearts News. “It’s a big club and hopefully I can help bring some silverware to Tynecastle. There was always a great atmosphere here when I played and I’m looking forward to having the fans on my side for a change! I am sorry to be leaving Motherwell so soon after that but these things happen in football.”
