Stirling Albion relegated to the Second Division

With four games remaining, Jocky Scott’s Stirling Albion side have been relegated to the Second Division managing only a 1-1 draw with Dundee, Scott’s former employers.

Albion took the lead after 23 minutes through Michael Mullen from six yards out, however Dundee striker Leighton Mcintosh equalised for the Dees on 50 minutes, and that’s how the game ended.

Stirling sit 14 points behind Cowdenbeath at the bottom of the First Division, and with only four games remaining it has now been confirmed that they will be playing Second Division football next year.

The Fan-owned club will now look to bounce back next year and gain promotion back to Division One.
