Posted by

Big day in the Scottish 3rd division, with the league already tied up, there’s three playoffs spaces up for grabs, there could still be twists and turns yet.

Albion Rovers vs Stranraer

Both sides are going for the playoffs, win for Albion would seal the playoff spot for the first time in their history, Stranraer are one point infront of Queen’s Park a win would put them in control, however a loss and a win for Queen’s Park would dent there chances of making the playoffs with one game to go.

Chris Boyle will be back for Albion while John Gemmell will prob start on the bench for the Coatbridge side, Stranraer are with out the banned Steven Noble as they have no injury worrys.

Prediction: Albion 2-0 Stranraer.

Annan vs Arbroath

Annan are fighting for a playoff spot they are 3 points infront of Queen’s Park with two games to go, while Arbroath crowned champions last week are looking to spoil Annan’s playoff push.

John Macbeth and Graeme Bell are both missing for Annan, Meanwhile Arbroath are without Keith Gibson who is suspended, and Alan Rattray who is missing through injury.

Prediction: Annan 0-1 Arbroath

Clyde vs Queen’s Park

Clyde host Queen’s Park for the 4th time this season, Glasgow derbie brings it all for both set of fans and players, Clyde are currently in a battle of their own trying to avoid the wooden spoon, Queen’s Park are looking to get into the playoffs, a win would see them go into the playoffs with one game to go only if Stranraer lose or draw.

Clyde are without top scorer Marc McCusker, while Jamie McCluskey is in a race to be fit for the match, but Ally Park, Alex Gramovics and Connor Stevenson are all out. While Queen’s Park are missing Jamie Brough, Paul Harkins, Stephen Baillie, Michael O’Hara and David Murray
