Incoming Rangers manager Ally McCoist, and current Rangers manager Walter Smith carried Tommy Burns’ coffin at his funeral. McCoist even broke down in tears at the former Celtic player’s funeral in May 2008. But now it seems that elements within the Rangers support have decided to continue their singing shame repertoire with a song mocking the death of Burns.
After the Jock Stein child abuse song and the Famine Song, they have now continued their shameful singing, by mocking the death of Legendary player Tommy Burns.
The sickening song has the lyrics, “You’ll never see tommy burns again ha ha ha ha, You’ll never see tommy burns again ha ha ha ha, You’ll never see tommy burns again cause he’s a f***in skeleton.” You can see said elements sing the song below in the video from 0.26 seconds onwards, while over in Lisbon.
Rangers were unavailable for comment, however if they are serious in dealing with elements who shame the club, then they must act against those singing a song that many officials past and present respected highly, and were friends with.
Name and Shame them folks! Report them to Rangers Football Club.
