It’s déjà vu all over again this week as we talk league construction. This time it’s a 10-team top-tier with a 12-team ‘Championship’ below. The people are revolting, as they say, but with the Old Firm possessing veto power, we ask: What’s Neil Doncaster to do?

On the pitch, Celtic have outlined their Championship credentials and Gary Hooper has shown his predatory class. Meanwhile, their opponent, Hibs, look every inch the relegation-threatened side. Rangers impressed against “The Rockstar’s” Hamilton while Craig Brown continues to work Septuagenarian magic in Aberdeen. There’s also draws at Rugby Park and Fir Park to look back on.

The SFL is combined with a Scottish Cup preview, as we look ahead to some big encounters for side’s out-with the top-flight – with particular focus on huge matches for Peterhead and Ayr.

There’s SPL action on Tuesday and at the weekend that we will look ahead to. Hearts hosting Rangers is a particular highlight, as the Jambo’s look to prove they are genuine title contenders.

We’ve got Where are they Now? and Punt of the Week to round things off. Hope you all enjoy, and get in tough on theterrace@scotzine.com. Remember you can subscribe to The Terrace Radio Football Podcast on iTunes also.
