Milan Misun leaves Celtic for Swindon

Celtic have sold Czech defender Milan Misun to Swindon Town for an undisclosed fee, after failing to make the grade at Parkhead following a torrid time with injuries.

Misun has signed a two and a half year deal with the English League One outfit, as he looks to kick start his career.

Despite being linked heavily with moves to AC Milan and FC Copenhagen, Misun moved to Scotland but the perceived potential noticed by Celtic’s scouting network failed to come to fruition hampered by injuries, including a ligament injury picked up after some good performances in pre-season.

He was loaned out to First Division side Dundee making two appearances, however his time at Dens Park was cut short when the club went into administration and a transfer embargo was put in place.

And yesterday his time at Celtic Park was at an end when Swindon came calling.
